PDFNoteFlow Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 June 2026
In short: PDFNoteFlow collects nothing. There are no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no ads. Your PDFs and notes stay on your device.
What we collect
Nothing. PDFNoteFlow does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal or usage data. There is no tracking, advertising, or account system.
Where your data lives
- PDFs you open are read locally through your browser's file picker or drag-and-drop. They are never uploaded.
- Your notes, annotations, page markers, cards, courses, and preferences are stored locally in your browser and in course files you save to your own computer.
- The extension makes no network requests. All libraries it uses (PDF.js, marked.js, KaTeX) are bundled inside it.
Permissions
PDFNoteFlow requests a single permission, tabs, used only to open the PDFNoteFlow viewer in a browser tab and to focus an already-open viewer tab. It is not used to read your browsing history or the contents of other tabs. The extension requests no host permissions and runs no scripts on the websites you visit.
Children's privacy
The extension collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
